Actor Emraan Hashmi Brings Home The Lamborghini Huracan

Indian actor Emraan Hashmi is the latest star to join the Lamborghini club and has brought home the Huracan supercar. The video has emerged online showing Emraan driving the Italian supercar to his residence with the Huracan finished in the bright Giallo Horus yellow shade running on temporary registration plates. A dealership executive can be seen accompanying the actor in the passenger seat. It is interesting to note that the public road outside the actor’s home is far from suitable for a supercar, which is quite the reality for car owners in Mumbai.

The Lamborghini Huracan draws power from a 5.2-litre V10 naturally aspirated engine

The Lamborghini Huracan is the brand’s entry-level supercar and was launched in India in 2014 for a price of ₹ 3.43 crore. The two-door coupe though received a mid-lifecycle update earlier this year with the Huracan Evo being launched in India at a price tag of ₹ 3.73 crore (all prices, ex-showroom India). The Italian bull draws power from a 5.2-litre, naturally-aspirated V10 engine that produces 610 bhp and can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds before topping out at 325 kmph. With the Huracan Evo, power has been up-rated to 631 bhp and peak torque of 600 Nm. The Evo sprints from 0-100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds, while 0-200 kmph is achieved in 9 seconds. The motor is paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission.

Emraan’s Lamborghini Huracan is pre-facelifted version and gets a different set of bumpers at the front and rear. The newer model also gets a host of electronic aids including the chassis control system, all-wheel steering and magnetorheological dampers. The video also shows green brake calipers on the car, and it will be interesting to find out if the actor specified for the same.

Over the years, the Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai actor has owned a range of luxury cars including the Range Rover Vogue, Audi Q7, Audi A8 L and the BMW 5 Series. On the work front, he will be seen next in a Netflix production Bard of Blood, and is also working on a number of movies including Chehre and Mumbai Saga.
