Both the BMW X7 SUV and the BMW 7 Series sedan are based on the same CLAR architecture and look every bit the flagship models that you’d expect them to be. BMW India will be retailing the X7 xDrive 40i with the 3.0-litre six-cylinder, twin-turbo petrol motor tuned for 335 bhp and 450 Nm of peak torque. There will also the top-of-the-line X7 xDrive M50d with the 3.0-litre six-cylinder, twin-turbo diesel that produces 394 bhp and 760 Nm of peak torque. Both engines options will come paired with the 8-speed Steptronic automatic transmission that will send power to all four wheels.

The India-spec BMW 7 Series, on the other hand, will be offered in the 740 Li and the 730 Ld trims.
