The new all-electric EQS is valued at £99,995 and is the first all-electric luxury saloon from the Mercedes EQ brand. The new model is powered by a 10-7.8kWh lithium-ion battery which can generate up to 333hp.
The new electric model has a range of 453 miles based on WLTP estimates.
Mercedes EQS will be capable of ultra-rapid charging thanks to a 200kW DC on board charger.
This will allow the car to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just over half an hour making it ideal for longer trips.
The DC charger will also deliver an extra 196 miles of range in just 15 minutes to provide an emergency top-up.
All EQS models will come with a three-year subscription to Mercedes me Charge.
The service will provide access to many public charging providers across the UK.
All new EQS models will also come with free rapid charging from the IONITY service for one year.
Mercedes’ innovative MBUX Hyperscreen will also be included on the new EQS machine.

The EQS 450+ Luxury models are valued around £7,000 more and include a range of lucrative extras finished in a classic style.
The model included the new Microcloud Artico upholstery combined with ship-deck wood and comfort seats.
The model also features comfort headrests, a heated steering wheel and 22-inch alloy wheels.
Exclusive Luxury trim costs a further £7,000 more and adds multi-contour massage seats with climate control features.
