AutoTrader has previously warned the UK is likely to adopt the new rules, despite already leaving the European Union. It said the UK has retained most EU laws for new cars which is important to standardise the manufacturing process.
However, some have pushed for the Government to take a tougher stance and “get Brexit done” for real.
