Datsun Redi-Go facelift spied

Latest spy video suggest that the Datsun Redi-Go could receive a facelift in the near future.

The heavily camouflaged test mule appears to retain the overall shape of the Redi-Go. It could get minor changes to the front. The shape of the wraparound headlamps appears to be the same, but the wheel cap design seems to be new. The updated model is expected to comply with the new crash safety standards.

At present, the Redi-Go is offered with a choice of two engines – a 799cc unit that produces 53 BHP @ 5,678 rpm and 72 Nm @ 4,386 rpm and a 999cc engine that makes 67 BHP @ 5,500 rpm and 91 Nm of torque @ 4,250 rpm. Both engines are offered with a 5-speed manual transmission, while the latter gets an optional 5-speed AMT.
