Netflix’s ‘Drive to Survive’ Season 3 Trailer Is Here

To say the 2020 Formula 1 season was chaotic is an understatement. Thanks to a global pandemic, the 2020 Formula 1 season was in a constant state of jeopardy, with a revolving door of new problems for teams and officials to face. If there was ever a Formula 1 season to document in a season-long series, 2020 would be the one.

Fortunately for F1 fans, that’s exactly what happened. Despite the uncertainty the season would happen at all, the team at Netflix’s Drive to Survive captured the season as it happened, just like it has the past two F1 Seasons. We suspect the show will not run light on drama—and that’s not even accounting for Lewis Hamilton’s seventh F1 championship.

Netflix says that the show will hit the streaming service on March 19. For those unfamiliar with the show, each episode highlights one team’s efforts at one event. Considering the strange season that took place, we’d imagine that the format was altered to compensate for the circumstances.

We’re looking forward to seeing the 2020 F1 season through the lens of Netflix. If you’re looking for something to do in the meantime, you can check out the more traditional first and second seasons of the show, which highlight the 2018 and 2019 F1 seasons. You can also buzz through all of our F1 stories from the past year, or maybe take a look at the upcoming 2021 season.
