Royal Enfield has launched the Super Meteor 650 in the North American & Canadian markets. Prices for the motorcycle in the two international markets start from US$ 6,999, while the top-spec will retail at US$ 7,299 (Rs 5.82 lakh & Rs 6.07 lakh, respectively).<\/p>\n
The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 will be manufactured in India and exported to international markets. In USA and Canada, the Super Meteor 650 will be offered in 3 variants: Astral, Interstellar and Celestial. The Astral and Interstellar variants will come with a single seat, while the Celestial trim gets a tall windscreen. In terms of paint options, the base trim comes with a choice of Green, Black and Blue, while the Interstellar is offered in Grey and Green. The top-spec Celestial variant gets dual-tone colours: Red\/Cream and Blue\/Cream.<\/p>\n
Mechanically, the Super Meteor 650 will be identical to its Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 siblings. This includes a 648cc parallel-twin engine producing 46.2 BHP and 52 Nm, paired to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper & assist clutch as standard. Other features also include USD front forks from Showa, Tripper Navigation, LED Headlamp & LED turn signals; to name a few.<\/p>\n
