Hyundai Kona EV N Line in the works; Unveil in 2024

The inclusion of the Kona EV into the brand’s N Line lineup is part of Hyundai’s push to introduce more affordable alternatives.

According to reports, Hyundai is working on expanding its sporty ‘N Line’ model lineup with the all-electric Kona SUV.

The N Line version (not to be confused with the outright N performance) of the electric SUV will be based on the new-gen model unveiled earlier this year. The new-gen Kona EV is said to be bigger, bolder and better in every way, compared to the older generation.

The upcoming Hyundai Kona EV N Line was spotted recently, sporting the ‘N Line’ badge upfront and on the handle. The sportier version of the Kona EV also features a pixelated horizontal lamp running across the car’s entire width at the front. The pixel styling is also carried forward on the front DRLs and the rear tail lights. Inside, the ‘N Line’ badging can also be seen on the seats. The sportier N Line version of the Kona EV could feature exclusive paint scheme options, not available on the standard model.

Hyundai is yet to release the powertrain specifications of the Kona EV N Line. The standard EV is available with either 48 kWh or 68.4 kWh battery options with 200 miles and 261 miles of range, respectively.
